Morning Glory is the name given to over 1000 species of plants in the Convolvulaceae family and was first used in China as a laxative. It became popular with Aztecs in Mexico for its psychoactive properties and was used by shamans as an aphrodisiac and to see visions such as locating lost items.
Morning Glory Seeds contain ergot alkaloids such as ergonourine and ergine (LSA), which produce a similar effect to LSD. Some of the alkaloids in the seeds also produce a narcotic effect.
The main effects are a dreamy state, ability to focus as driving, and open and closed eye visuals.
